Creating a more just and inclusive society.

EmpowerMT creates a more just and inclusive society by developing youth and adult leaders who work to end mistreatment, correct systemic inequities, and strengthen communities across Montana and beyond.

Open House!

Wednesday, July 16th, 4pm - 6pm

320 East Main Street
Missoula, MT

This May, with a bit of luck and perfect timing, EmpowerMT found a new place to call home, and it's right in the heart of downtown Missoula! We are now located at 320 East Main Street, in a big, beautiful craftsman-style house just across from the old library. The moment we stepped inside, our team knew it was special. We've lovingly named it The Sunshine House to symbolize the joy, positivity, and warmth we aspire to cultivate.

With its central location, easy bus access, and walkability, our new space opens the doors to even more youth and community members.

Join us for our Open House Celebration on Wednesday, July 16th from 4pm - 6 pm! Come tour the new space, connect with our team, and help us celebrate this exciting new chapter.

EmpowerMT’s youth and school programming focuses on healing-centered youth-led change rooted in belonging, meaning, wellbeing, and purpose. This pathway of leadership development offers opportunities to explore identity, understand the impact of systemic oppression, and develop skills and confidence to create meaningful positive change.

With over 27 years of experience, EmpowerMT partners with nonprofit organizations, businesses, and state, federal, and tribal agencies to provide tailored facilitation, consulting, and skill-building services that strengthen teams, empower leadership, and create client-centered, collaborative work environments.

EmpowerMT’s community-based programming engages people across Montana to connect, teach, and learn together through events and dialogue that foster belonging, understanding, and collective action. Through annual events like Diversity Day, Missoula’s MLK Celebration, The Handoff Podcast, and community facilitation, we serve as a resource to develop comprehensive, place-based solutions to systemic barriers.

Developing leaders across Montana since 1998.
